Your Role
As part of the Airfreight (Import) team, you will play a key role in managing inbound shipments, ensuring smooth coordination from origin to final delivery while delivering high service standards to customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee end-to-end import airfreight shipments, from pre-alert to delivery
• Coordinate closely with overseas agents, airlines, customers, and internal teams
• Review and ensure accuracy of AWB/HAWB and import documentation in compliance with regulations
• Ensure adherence to customs requirements and IATA guidelines
• Provide timely shipment updates, including delays and delivery arrangements
• Coordinate cargo arrival, clearance, and last-mile delivery
• Maintain accurate system updates and shipment records
• Monitor shipments to ensure KPI targets and timely job closure
• Handle billing, cost verification, and invoice discrepancies
• Support quotation requests for import shipments when required
• Ensure compliance with customer SOPs and service standards
• Proactively escalate and resolve operational issues
Key Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in airfreight import operations
• Strong knowledge of import documentation, customs clearance, and IATA regulations
• DGR certification will be an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics systems
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive team player with a positive attitude
