Senior Customer Engineering Manager, IC Products

Elevate Semiconductor is seeking a senior, customer facing engineering leader to own technical execution and customer success across key accounts in Taiwan. This role is highly visible and hands on, serving as the primary technical authority for IC performance, test results, and product quality in collaboration with global design, test, and quality teams.

This is an ideal role for an experienced applications, product, or test engineer who enjoys deep technical problem solving, direct customer interaction, and technical leadership without stepping away from engineering work.

Fluency in English and Mandarin is required. International travel is expected to support customers and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical owner for customer facing IC performance, test behavior, and system level integration.
• Lead hands on debugging of device, test, and system issues using ATE hardware and software to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Own technical resolution of customer returns, yield issues, and performance concerns by coordinating design, test, quality, and manufacturing teams.
• Partner closely with design and test engineering during new product introduction to ensure performance, reliability, and customer requirements are met.
• Monitor customer KPIs, analyze failure and yield trends, and lead corrective action programs to ensure long term customer confidence.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to local engineers, with a focus on debugging approach, test strategy, and effective customer communication.
• Represent Elevate Semiconductor in customer audits, technical reviews, and product qualification discussions as the senior technical authority.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field.
• 7 or more years of experience in IC product, device, applications, or test engineering.
• Strong understanding of mixed signal or analog IC testing, device characterization, and failure analysis.
• Experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineers in a customer facing environment.
• Fluent communication in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Preferences

• Experience with ATE platforms and hands on test development or characterization.
• Background in developing test plans, analyzing data, and supporting customer qualification.
