(Senior) CRM Tech Specialist (f/m/x)

TLDR

Own the end-to-end CRM architecture to optimize sales and marketing workflows, drive data-driven automation, and ensure operational excellence across the customer lifecycle.

We are looking for a (Senior) CRM & Automation Specialist who combines deep CRM system knowledge with strong business understanding.

You will own the end-to-end CRM architecture, optimize sales & marketing workflows, and drive data-driven automation across the customer lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on CRM expertise, experience building scalable processes, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the functional & technical owner of our CRM ecosystem.
  • Design, build, and optimize automation workflows, lead routing, sequences, scoring, and lifecycle frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain CRM data models, field structures, and permission frameworks.
  • Implement advanced automation to streamline sales, marketing, and customer success processes.
  • Act as the bridge between business and tech, translating requirements into scalable CRM solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Ops to define processes and ensure CRM supports operational excellence.
  • Manage CRM integrations and ensure seamless data flow and data quality across systems.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and performance tracking to measure funnel health and team productivity.
  • A completed degree ideally in a technology-related field such as Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline — or comparable experience gained through a coding bootcamp or technical training.
  • Relevant professional experience in areas such as startups, CRM management, low‑code automation, or related fields.
  • Hands‑on experience with Pipedrive (or other CRMs) including configuration, workflow automation, pipeline setup, custom fields, user management, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), as well as automation tools (e.g., Make, Zapier, n8n) and data tools such as Airtable, are a strong plus.
  • High level of proactivity, solution orientation, and the ability to combine strategic thinking with hands‑on implementation.
  • Willingness to take full ownership of projects, especially in digital environments, and to work independently with strong self‑management.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail paired with a can‑do attitude that motivates both yourself and the team.
  • German language skills ideally at B2 level.

Even if you don’t meet all the criteria above, we encourage you to apply. We believe diverse perspectives strengthen our team, and we foster a culture of learning, development, and growth.

  • Work at Germany’s first green unicorn and actively shape the solar energy transition with us.
