Senior Creative Technologist

About the Role

As a Senior Creative Technologist, you will join a highly motivated and experienced team, building web and mobile applications as well as providing strategy consulting for Appnovation’s clients. We are looking for people who can bring a strong, consulting and solution-focused mindset. You will bridge the gap between heavy engineering and high-end design, utilizing modern AI tools to rapidly architect and build customer-centric solutions.

Qualification

• 10+ years of experience as an information technology professional in roles such as a software developer, creative technologist, or technical team lead.
• Deep expertise in Atomic Design principles:
• Proven ability to break down complex user interfaces into reusable components (atoms, molecules, organisms) and implement them across large-scale design systems.
• Experience building and maintaining Design Systems:
• Ability to architect component libraries that bridge the gap between design tools (Figma) and production code, ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Expert level UI/UX skills with a proven track record of delivering software solutions that enable rich consumer experiences.
• Proficiency with modern AI-assisted development and design tools such as Lovable, Figma AI, Bolt.new, v0.dev, or similar generative platforms to accelerate prototyping and delivery.
• Strong architectural mindset: Ability to take business requirements and transform them into technical designs for software developers, infrastructure specialists and other technology enterprises.
• Deep understanding of architectural principles necessary for delivering scalable, extensible and maintainable high-performance data driven cloud, web and/or mobile experiences.
• Strong expertise in development technologies necessary for building custom applications and web content platforms (e.g. React, Vue.js, Node.js, or standard frontend stacks).
• Experience facilitating exploration of new technologies and new systems/configurations through proof of concept (POC) and pilot solutioning.
• Deep understanding of agile principles and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent understanding of application development, coupled with infrastructure, data and security architecture skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or equivalent proven industrial experience.
• Experience in a digital agency or consultancy environment.
• Experience with "No-Code/Low-Code" platforms for rapid deployment.
• Prior experience and connections in the Life Sciences industry is preferred.
