We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Senior Cost Accountant with over 4 years of experience, a proven track record of success, and a passion for providing exceptional financial controlling services for our companies around the world. Our ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail, and have a proven ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Oversee the quality of provided information in the procurement process, working closely with purchase requestors from other departments
- Review purchase requests from the cost initiators and transform them into purchase orders in accordance with internal policies
- Check the quality of data in invoices
- Reconcile purchase orders and bank statements on a monthly basis
- Develop and implement internal controls and policies to ensure compliance with reporting standards and legislation
- Assist with data preparation for management, financial, and tax reporting needs.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU:
- 4+ years of experience as a cost accountant
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS
- Experience in working with ERP systems
- Experience in working with AP automation software
- Experience in working with multiple departments across the organization
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Can-do attitude towards challenges and ability to manage routine tasks
- Willingness to find weak spots in business processes and make proposals for improvement
