Why you Should Join Us:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Corporate In-House Lawyer to join our legal department. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice and ensure compliance in corporate, contractual, regulatory, and defense-related legal matters, mitigating legal risks in a highly regulated and sensitive industry.

What You ‘ll Be Doing:

  • Contract & Commercial Law

-Negotiate, draft, and review a broad range of commercial and defense-related contracts, including public procurement, international cooperation agreements, -NDAs, MoUs, and subcontractor agreements.

-Manage contract risks and disputes in collaboration with relevant departments.

  • Public Procurement - Defense and Security Regulations

-Provide legal guidance on public procurement and national defense legislation, classified information handling, and strategic agreements with domestic and international partners.

-Ensure full compliance with Greek and EU regulations, export controls, and international trade laws.

-Develop legal strategies to protect company interests in disputes.

  • Stakeholder Management & Internal Collaboration

-Work closely with senior management, engineering, compliance, and procurement teams to ensure legally sound decision-making.

  • Litigation & Dispute Resolution

-Manage and coordinate external counsel in case of litigation, arbitration

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Licensed to practice law in Greece.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of post-qualification experience, including significant in-house counsel experience (preferably in defense, aerospace, or heavy industry).
  • Deep understanding of Greek corporate law, EU regulations, public procurement and defense sector compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English (written and spoken).

  

Desired:

  • Working knowledge of national public and defense procurement procedures (e.g. Law 4412/2016 and Law 3978/2011), as well as European and NATO new technology development programs and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity and AI Regulations.
  • Familiarity with international cooperation agreements.
