The Role
We are seeking an experienced senior copywriter with a deep understanding of writing, marketing, and creativity to join the Felix brand team. This role will work closely with our associate creative director to establish our brand voice and tone, own copy for paid and organic social marketing, write compelling scripts for TV, audio, and UGC content, and help concept big ideas. You will work on a tight-knit team to support cross-functionally across the company, including brand, design, lifecycle, and user acquisition teams. We are looking for someone with both agency and in-house experience who is comfortable working on a small team in a start-up environment.
In this role, you will:
Establish tone of voice, consistent terminology, and tonal considerations for the brand spanning multiple patient touchpoints
Collaborate with the growth team to develop copy and messaging for static and video digital ad creative for always-on paid social marketing
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create thought leadership pieces, educational content, and articles addressing patient needs or industry trends
Conceptualize and write copy for lifecycle brand marketing campaigns, including onboarding, retention, upselling, and win-back emails, to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction
Adapt long-form content into bite-sized, engaging pieces for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook), keeping in mind platform-specific best practices
Work with the creative director to concept creative ideas for national reach, omni-channel brand and marketing campaigns
Write scripts for both brand & functional level TVCs for mass-reach campaigns, digital performance marketing, as well as UGC and influencer marketing
Work closely with compliance teams to balance creativity with accuracy and compliance
Contribute to a broader culture of creativity on the marketing team by participating in creative brainstorms and group critiques
We’re looking for someone who:
Has 7+ years of writing experience, including 3+ years of in-house experience
Is comfortable co-writing and receiving creative briefs
Is an excellent communicator and is comfortable receiving and responding to feedback from all levels of the organization
Understands best practices for writing brand vs. functional, paid social vs. mass reach copy
Obsesses over details and has a genuine passion for writing and creativity
Maintains strict adherence to industry regulations and legal requirements for patient-facing materials
Is a self-starter, and can uncover new opportunities for continuous improvement, not simply an order-taker
Is kind, empathetic, and genuinely excited about the possibilities in the healthcare space
Has a portfolio of relevant work experience
