This isn’t a role for a slow-burn PR writer or a hands-off manager. You are a Lead Writer who thrives at the intersection of tight, emotive short-form prose and high-performance paid media strategy. You are the engine room of our creative output, seeing the "big picture" while personally ensuring every word of our daily output is sharp, urgent, and effective.

As our Senior Copywriter & Brand Lead, you are the primary voice across our most influential brands: GVI, Bushwise, IFGA, and World of Difference. You aren't just "overseeing" the brand; you are building it, word by word. Your work is the bridge between our global conservation impact and the Gen Z, purpose-led audiences who make it a reality.


🎯 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • High-Volume Copywriting (70% of the role): You are one of the primary writers in the team. You will be hands-on daily, writing and editing high-impact short-form copy across web, paid media (Meta/TikTok/Google), email, social, and campaigns.
  • Paid Media Architecture: Owning the creative performance of our ads. You’ll be writing the hooks, directing image and design choices, and, crucially, analysing creative performance data to react and iterate in real-time.
  • Leading by Doing: Setting the gold standard for copywriting within the team. You will train and mentor our digital professionals to write tight, emotive, and high-converting copy that ditches the fluff.
  • Defining the Identity: Implementing progressive brand identities that position our brands for massive global growth.
  • Multi-Tasking in the Fast Lane: Managing multiple "balls in the air" in a high-pressure, agency-style environment. You think fast, write fast, and execute even faster.
  • Ensuring Integrity & Quality: Owning the editorial and QA processes to ensure SEO optimisation, brand alignment, and ethical integrity across all content.
  • Crisis & Quick-Response Comms: Leading the communications approach during sensitive situations with clarity, speed, and brand integrity.

🚀 WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • 6+ years of experience as a high-output copywriter with a portfolio that screams short-form excellence.
  • Paid Media Mastery: Proven experience creating and analysing paid media campaigns—you know why an ad fails and how to fix the creative to make it fly.
  • Agency Background: You are likely from a fast-paced agency environment. You are comfortable with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • The "Coach" Mentality: You can take a junior’s average draft and coach them into a master of short-form persuasion.
  • Strategic Leadership: 2+ years in a lead or strategic role where you’ve managed brand direction alongside your writing.

Bonus if you also have:

  • First-hand experience with Gen Z brands in the UK and US markets.
  • A background in travel, volunteering, or the gap-year sector.
