Senior Controller

Opportunity

The Senior Controller supports the financial and operational processes by delivering transparency, analysis, and insights to drive performance and informed decision-making. You act as a sparring partner for both management and business stakeholders, both locally and in interaction with our group company.

Your mission

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting processes.
• Analyze financial and operational performance (e.g. sales, margins, production efficiency, utilization, overheads).
• Interact with the accounting department during monthly closing procedures and financial audits.
• Track KPI’s across departments and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with business units to improve cost structures, process efficiency, and resource allocation.
• Support strategic planning and investment decisions with data-driven analysis.
• Maintain and enhance controlling tools, dashboards, and reporting standards.
• Ensure financial and operational data integrity and consistency.
• Act as a sparring partner to department heads on both financial and business topics.
• Get involved in ad hoc requests related to financial and business topics.

Your capabilities

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Fluent in Dutch & English.
• 3 to 7+ years of experience in controlling or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business insights.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP and BI tools is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
• High level of ownership, structure, and attention to detail.
• Business acumen and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
