Senior Consultant - Financial Services (FSI)

Our team in Asia is facing an exciting growth, and we are looking for passionate consultants or industry practitioners who want to accelerate their careers and join our team in Asia.

We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Insurance, Asset Management, and Operations business unit, and provide strategic and operational advisory for our clients.

Position overview:

As a Senior Consultant, you will help to build our expertise and guarantee the quality of delivery to ensure market-leading practices for our Hong Kong office. Given the global nature of our firm, you will support clients from all around the world, typically focusing on Insurance Companies, Asset Management Companies, and Operational Excellence across Financial Services.

You'll also work with Sia consultants from other offices to leverage on our global network and help clients deliver successful projects.

This will involve:

• Participation in projects with leading insurance companies, asset managers and Financial Institutions.
• Typically work with a team of 2-5 consultants.
• Contribute to the implementation and execution of clients projects.
• Develop impactful solutions by analysing data, formulating hypothesis and communicating with stakeholders.
• Transforming data into meaningful insights and solutions.
• Ensuring hands on approach to growing the office with emphasis on high standard client delivery, content development and business development.
• Working closely in a diverse and international environment with our other offices and leverage our global network to take part to cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge.
• Sharing consulting best practices with the team.

• Ability to drive relevant business decisions, accelerate projects delivery and mitigate, deter and escalate risks and issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor or equivalent in Economic, Business, Engineering or Finance.
• 5 – 7 years of relevant work experience
• Prior experience in insurance companies, asset management firms, operational roles within financial services, and/or as a management consultant serving these sectors.
• Demonstrated relevant experience in operational improvement projects such as claims processing, policy administration, fund operations, investment operations, operational transformation, and related topics.
• Fluency in English is a must. Business proficiency of Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be highly advantageous
