How you’ll make an impact 

As a Senior Consultant on our Decision Support Advisory Services team, you will serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare organizations, guiding the strategic design, configuration approach, and adoption of the Decision Support suite of our software, StrataJazz®. StrataJazz® Decision Support is rated #1 in KLAS and is known as the “gold standard” for understanding cost and margins across the healthcare industry. 

In this role, you will partner directly with key team members and executive stakeholders at some of the largest health systems in the world, helping them define business use cases, apply best practices, and maximize the value of StrataJazz®. 

The responsibilities of this role include: 

  • Consult on the design, approach, and adoption of key components of the StrataJazz® Decision Support platform across multiple customers nationwide 
  • Partner with customers to define business use cases and configuration recommendations, advising on cost accounting and analytics best practices aligned to organizational strategy 
  • Analyze and interpret complex source data to inform critical design decisions and implementation direction 
  • Collaborate with Strata’s Technical and Engineering teams to ensure customer needs and advisory recommendations are well understood and appropriately translated into delivery plans 
  • Lead onsite and virtual customer stakeholder sessions focused on discovery, design guidance, decision-making, and enablement; including working sessions and targeted training 
  • Communicate proactively with Strata team members, managers, project managers, and executives regarding risks, dependencies, and decision points throughout the project lifecycle; develop and recommend action plans to mitigate risk 
  • Contribute to operational improvement and strategic growth initiatives to help Strata scale its Advisory Services offerings and continually improve customer outcomes 
  • Work in an Agile environment, partnering closely with delivery teams while maintaining a focus on advisory guidance, value realization, and customer adoption 

What we’re looking for: 

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience working in the cost accounting decision support space 
  • Experience advising on cost accounting, decision support, healthcare analytics, and/or healthcare operations 
  • Advanced analytics capabilities, including hands-on experience querying relational databases using SQL (Snowflake preferred), with the ability to independently extract, analyze, and interpret data 
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of an organization regarding analytical insights, tradeoffs, change management, and adoption considerations 
  • Proven experience leading customers through complex initiatives with an emphasis on strategic guidance, value delivery, timelines, and budget preferred 
  • Willingness to travel within the US as needed to customer locations up to ~20% based on customer needs 

You’d really wow us if you have: 

  • Healthcare consulting experience directly related to decision support or experience within a health system decision support team 
  • Experience providing advisory guidance for the design or implementation of decision support or analytics software (not solely hands-on configuration) 
  • Proficiency with analytics using SQL and Snowflake with experience translating insights through visualization dashboards such as Tableau and PowerBI 

Estimated Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000

Actual salary will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, skill set and level of experience. This salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Strata also provides discretionary variable pay programs based on role.
