The Role 

We're seeking a Senior Cloud Solution Architect to join our growing team of technical leaders. This is a strategic advisory role where you'll shape cloud and AI transformation initiatives for our European and US clients while providing technical guidance to our delivery teams. 

You'll spend your time: 

• 60% Client-Facing: Architecture consulting, solution design, and stakeholder engagement 
• 40% Internal Leadership: Technical guidance, mentoring project teams, and best practices development

Key Responsibilities 

Client Architecture & Advisory (60%) 

• Design large-scale cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure (and AWS) for enterprise clients across pharma, retail, and financial services 
• Lead architecture workshops and solution scoping sessions with C-level executives and technical stakeholders 
• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable cloud architectures with a strong emphasis on data & AI capabilities 
• Present technical solutions that connect complex cloud concepts to measurable business outcomes 
• Guide clients through Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) implementation and Well-Architected Framework (WAF) best practices 

Internal Technical Leadership (40%) 

• Provide technical guidance and architectural oversight to project delivery teams 
• Mentor engineers and consultants on cloud architecture patterns, data platforms, and AI implementation strategies
• Establish technical standards and review architectural decisions across multiple client engagements 
• Share expertise in emerging cloud technologies, particularly in data analytics and AI/ML solutions 
• Support pre-sales activities with solution architecture and technical proposal development 

Requirements

Essential Experience 

• 8+ years in enterprise solution architecture, with 5+ years focused on cloud platforms 
• Expert-level experience designing large-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure (AWS experience valued) 
• Proven track record with data platforms, analytics solutions, and emerging AI/ML technologies 
• Strong foundation in Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF) 
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architectures 

Technical Skills 

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification or equivalent expertise 
• Deep knowledge of Azure data services (Synapse, Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Cosmos DB, SQL Database) 
• AI/ML platform experience (Azure AI, Machine Learning, OpenAI Service integration) 
• Software engineering background (nice to have) - .NET, Python, or modern development practices 
• Multi-cloud awareness and hybrid architecture patterns
