We embrace a DevOps culture where the development teams manage their own CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for their services themselves. Our Cloud Network Engineering Team focuses on a reusable and modular cloud networking infrastructure to enable the development teams to deploy and operate services in the cloud productively and securely.
- You will provide and maintain secure, highly scalable networks and communications middleware to ensure transparent and always on connectivity for our most critical applications and partner integrations
- You will be responsible for improving infrastructure and deployment automation using tools like Terraform, AWS Lambda and Python to enable engineering teams all things networking
- You will work on reliability and cost optimization of our AWS networking infrastructure
- You will guide and empower our engineering teams to further cultivate our DevOps culture
- Multiple years of experience with AWS services, especially VPC, Transit Gateway, Network Firewall, Direct Connect, Route 53, CloudFront, ELB, ECS, IAM, Lambda and S3
- Proficient with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.
- Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language, preferably Python
- Preferably prior experience in managing enterprise-grade networking solutions, such as VPNs or Leased Lines
- Experience in low level network debugging (tcpdump), VPN (IPSEC, GRE) and Cisco IOS
- A passion for automating and improving processes while keeping Security in mind
- A degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering, sciences) or work experience in a role that typically requires a university degree
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely in an international English-speaking environment
