What your day-to-day will look like

• Lead cloud financial management initiatives across EBANX’s cloud environments, ensuring cost transparency, predictability, and alignment with business priorities.

• Own budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting processes for cloud spend, working closely with Finance, Procurement, and Engineering teams.

• Design, evolve, and maintain cost allocation and showback models that promote accountability and informed decision-making across teams.

• Identify, prioritize, and track cloud cost optimization opportunities, balancing efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

• Act as a trusted advisor for engineering and leadership teams, providing insights and recommendations to support cost-aware architectural and operational decisions.

• Contribute to the evolution of EBANX’s Cloud FinOps maturity, processes, and governance standards.

What you need to shine in this role

• Solid experience in Cloud FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, or similar roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and Azure (multi-cloud experience is important).

• Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and financial reporting for cloud environments.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex cost and usage data into clear, actionable business insights.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.

• Intermediate english skills.

Bonus points if you have

• AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure certifications.

• FinOps Foundation certifications (Practitioner, Professional, or Advanced).

• Experience working in large-scale, high-growth, or global environments.

• Familiarity with cloud purchasing and commitment strategies (e.g., Savings Plans, CUDs).
