We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our high caliber team.

Your contribution to the success of the team:

• Design, deploy and manage cloud-based services giving due consideration to performance, cost-effectiveness, availability and resilience
• Support the operation, architecture and engineering of the infrastructure and services
• Ensure that cloud services and infrastructure are properly monitored, managed and secured
• Develop code to orchestrate and automate cloud-based infrastructure and services
• Cooperate with other departments in the development and maintenance of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans
• Propose improvements in infrastructure, user productivity and collaboration services and lead small implementations
• Coordinate with other departments/teams such as IT, development, security and Help Desk in implementing configuration changes and resolving incidents
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures

Your Qualifications & Skills:

• BSc or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Proven professional experience (6+ years) in IT and cloud infrastructure and services
• Hands-on experience with creating, managing and monitoring Azure cloud services including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS offerings
• One or more Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-303/304/305, AZ-700 is a must
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and security best practices
• Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, especially Debian or Ubuntu-based distributions
• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM, Terraform, .NET, or similar technologies
• Strong knowledge of network access, identity, and access management
• Experience with building and supporting SaaS cloud services
• Good English & Greek oral and written skills
• Analytical and with strong problem-solving skills
• Collaborative and a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with DevOps, automated software deployment and CI/CD
• Knowledge/expertise in Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring, metrics and KPIs
