We are looking for an individual with a growth mindset who is always learning, has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and possesses strong technical knowledge of Azure platform engineering. Alongside an interest and tangible experience in Azure AI capabilities and AI platform engineering workflows. 

  

What you’ll do    

  

Your day-to-day activities will include designing, engineering, and delivering technical solutions for clients using Azure services, with a focus on agentic automation, infrastructure-as-code, and integrating intelligent cloud solutions, while maintaining strong client relationships. 

As a Senior Azure Cloud Platform Engineer, your key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Engineering – providing expert technical guidance and solutions to resolve business challenges. 
  • Implementation, migration, and modernisation – delivering cloud platform solutions on Azure. 
  • Leveraging your expert skills in Infrastructure as Code, platform and application/workload lifecycle management to provide great outcomes for your clients. 
  • Innovation – identifying opportunities to adopt and integrate Azure AI services (such as Azure OpenAI, AI Search, or Cognitive Services) to future-proof client environments. 
  • Developing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships, demonstrating technical excellence throughout all engagements. 
  • Contributing to standards, practices and practice initiatives. 

  

  

What you’ll bring   

  

This role suits a collaborative and proactive professional passionate about cloud technologies and delivering excellent solutions that meet client needs. Ideally, you will have 5+ years in IT with at least 3 years’ experience in cloud project delivery or platform engineering. 

We want to hear about your hands-on experience delivering complex Azure cloud projects, your strong communication skills, and your ability to build trusted client relationships. 

We value people who stay ahead of the curve—whether that's experimenting with generative AI tools, exploring how AI can enhance cloud solutions, or simply being curious about emerging technologies. 

Highly Desirable Skills and Experience: 

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent certifications 
  • Experience deploying Azure Landing Zones for medium to large enterprises using Azure CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework) best practices 
  • Migration of services to and within Azure, including lift-and-shift and cloud-native transformations 
  • Intermediate to expert experience with Infrastructure as Code using, Bicep and/or Terraform 
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, including leveraging GitHub Copilot to accelerate development productivity and improve code quality 
  • Good working knowledge of accelerator-based deployments and vending architectures to streamline and standardise cloud infrastructure delivery 
  • Advanced Azure security and networking skills including Entra ID, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Azure Policy, Azure Security Center, VNets, Subnets, NSGs, and Azure Firewall 
  • Foundational knowledge or hands-on experience with Azure AI Services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Machine Learning, or Azure AI Studio). 
  • An understanding of how to securely architect and govern AI workloads within an enterprise Azure environment (Data privacy, networking, and RBAC for AI). 
  • Container orchestration and management experience using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Instances (ACI), and Docker 
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems in cloud environments 
  • Integration experience with identity and federation providers such as Entra ID, ADFS, or third-party SSO solutions 
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and its application to cloud architecture and migration 
  • Exposure to Azure AI services such as Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Machine Learning, or Microsoft Copilot 
  • Experience using AI-assisted development or productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
