Responsibilities

Providing leadership and hands-on technical support in a global team environment
Mentoring and training other technical team members
Developing logical and physical architecture drawings for IT environments
Automating operational tasks using scripts to reduce errors and manual effort
Setting up and operating reliable Windows Server infrastructure from inception through production
Performing technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation activities
Evaluating customer requirements and producing compliant architecture designs and documentation
Contributing technical input to system design and delivery schedules
Supporting scoping, estimation, and project planning discussions
Troubleshooting incidents, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating permanent solutions
Managing and tracking work through a trouble-ticketing system
Participating in rotating on-call support and providing occasional travel support as needed
Performing other related duties as required

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
10+ years of experience designing, deploying, and operating diverse IT solutions
Experience designing, implementing, operating, and troubleshooting complex systems
Deep expertise administering Windows Server 2019–2022 and related technologies (AD, GPO, Hyper-V, FCM, SCVMM, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Virtualization expertise (Hyper-V, VMware) including migrations between platforms
Storage expertise, including S2D cluster setup and ongoing maintenance
Security operations experience (access control, patching/updates, threat monitoring, firewall rule management)
Automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Batch, Python) including knowledge of Atera automation software
Ability to design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Ability to create detailed technical documentation aligned to customer requirements and standards
Ability to work different shifts supporting customers/partners across regions and collaborate across time zones
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and travel occasionally if required
Relevant Microsoft certifications (required)

Nice to Have

Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure tooling (Terraform, Git, Chef)
Experience with Backup as a Service (BaaS) and Data Recovery as a Service (DRaaS)
Knowledgeable in storage and disaster recovery infrastructure and technology
