Work as a quality specialist embedded in a cross-functional agile development team focusing on product quality. Agile teams consist of developers, product and quality specialists collectively responsible for all stages of product development from design to validation.

About the Product:

Duties & Responsibilities:

The duties initially assigned include, but are not limited to:

· Contribute as a subject matter expert in a cross-functional agile development team building and maintaining healthcare software solutions.

· Design detailed testing scenarios to validate application functionality and performance.

· Record test scenarios into automated regression scripts using InterSystems test automation toolkit.

· Coordinate the execution and review of automated test libraries.

· Investigate and document functional, usability and performance issues detected by automated test runs.

· Liaise with other departments and subject matter experts during investigations.

· Coordinate and plan regression script coverage for release validation.

· Perform ongoing maintenance on automated test libraries.

· Creation and maintenance of documentation including functional specifications, user stories, agile processes, and team reports.

· Other duties may be directed by the company from time to time.

Requirements:

· 5+ years of experience in a clinical informatics related field

· Tertiary education in healthcare (ie. nursing, pharmacy, respiratory therapy), information technology, or related field.

· Demonstrated interest in IT and the application of technology to add value and/or solve problems.

· Strong computer skills are essential, scripting or test automation experience is an advantage.

· Application testing expertise is desirable especially in healthcare applications.

· Previous experience working with healthcare applications as an end user or vendor.

· Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.

· A flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies, and software products.

InterSystems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.

Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.
