Who You Are:
The Senior Client Director is a hard-charging, hunter sales professional to drive net new customer acquisition for our UC provisioning software platform. You will focus on landing large, complex enterprise accounts that meet our Ideal Client Profile (ICP): organizations with 10,000+ users, complex UC migration requirements, and Day 2 provisioning needs. You will be responsible for building pipeline, closing strategic deals, and positioning our solution as the leader in Unified Communications provisioning across Government, Large Enterprise, and Healthcare sectors. You will work in close partnership with the Strategic Account Executive and Account Manager Mid-market, who have responsibility for expansion and renewals for most of our strategic and mid- market accounts.
In addition, you will play a critical part in Akkadian’s partner ecosystem, working closely with systems integrators, channel partners, and reseller partners to jointly identify opportunities, co-sell complex deals, and present a unified value proposition to enterprise customers.
What You'll Do:
- Hunt for New Business: Identify, engage, and close net new enterprise customers in Government, Large Enterprise, and Healthcare verticals. Generate new business opportunities via outbound calls and emails, social media, partner channels, etc.
- Strategic Prospecting: Develop and execute account-based strategies targeting organizations with 10K+ users and complex UC environments. Identify key executive-level decision-makers in partners and enterprises and build executive-level relationships within target accounts and partner organizations.
- Solution Selling: Articulate the value of our APM provisioning platform for migration and Day 2 operations. Create compelling value propositions tailored to client needs and present custom solutions. Consult with prospects, partners and existing named customers regarding business objectives and requirements, frame the value of Akkadian offerings as a differentiated solution for those goals.
- Full-Cycle Sales Execution: Manage the full sales cycle – from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and close.
- Complex Deal Execution: Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes and lead negotiations to close high-value contracts.
- Partner Collaboration & Co-Selling: Identify and engage strategic integration and reseller partners to map partner capabilities to client needs and jointly qualify opportunities and support complex sales cycles. Initiate conversations to establish rapport and share context on mutual opportunities, fostering trust-based co-selling relationships. Lead co-selling motions, including joint discovery calls, customer meetings, and presentations.
- Unified Partner & Prospect Engagement: Present a seamless, unified front with partners across customer interactions, including pitches, demos, follow-ups, and QBRs, reinforcing the combined value of Akkadian and partner offerings.
- Partner Enablement & Alignment: Provide partners with product training, competitive context, and account intelligence to support successful technical discussions and deployments. Maintain regular touchpoints alignment through shared tools, pipeline reviews, and ongoing communication to stay ahead of client priorities. Ensure early alignment on roles, goals, and messaging to avoid mixed signals and drive a cohesive client-facing narrative.
- Pipeline Management: Using HubSpot, build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through outbound efforts, networking, and industry events. Forecast cadence with strong accountability.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on UC industry trends, competitive landscape, market conditions and customer pain points to position our solution effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales/Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success to deliver tailored proposals and ensure smooth onboarding. Work cross-functionally with Product and Support teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. Be an Akkadian subject matter expert by aligning and collaborating with team members for best practices and be able to present and demo our product and services.
- Data-Driven Insights & CRM: Leverage analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for expansion. Consistently and accurately update Hubspot to schedule and complete detailed activity in leads, contacts, accounts, pipeline, etc.
Performance Metrics:
- Goals: Meet or exceed the goals assigned to this role, including
- New ARR: Achieve quarterly and annual targets for net new revenue.
- ICP Alignment: Ensure all closed accounts meet the ideal client profile criteria.
- Pipeline Growth: Maintain a healthy pipeline with consistent outbound activity.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of enterprise sales experience in SaaS or UC-related technology.
- Proven track record of hunting and closing large, complex deals in Government, Enterprise, or Healthcare sectors.
- Deep understanding of Unified Communications, UCaaS, and enterprise IT environments.
- Strong executive presence, business acumen and ability to engage C-level decision-makers.
- Highly driven, competitive, and results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage complex accounts and drive strategic initiatives.
