Direct mail is one of Virta’s most significant drivers of new member growth. This role owns its continued scalability, efficiency, and innovation.
We’re looking for a senior operator to lead and evolve this engine. As our highest-impact acquisition channel, direct mail has visibility into executive planning and forecasting - and plays a central role in how we scale personalization across large employer and health plan populations while expanding into new conditions and audiences.
As Channel Manager, you will:
Own the full P&L of the direct mail channel
Lead experimentation strategy and financial forecasting
Scale high-performing creative across diverse member populations
Improve efficiency through automation, vendor strategy, and smarter segmentation
Your work will ensure Virta’s mail campaigns reach members predictably, efficiently, and with measurable impact. This is a senior individual contributor role with meaningful cross-functional influence.
Own and scale a multi-million dollar direct mail program as a primary driver of applications and enrollments
Translate testing into financial impact, forecasting performance and influencing quarterly growth targets
Build and operationalize a repeatable experimentation engine (creative, segmentation, timing, format)
Improve channel efficiency through automation, vendor strategy, and reduced manual workflows
Expand our creative and personalization playbook to increase response rates across client segments
Within 90 days you will:
Own mail performance reporting and forecasting
Launch at least one high-impact experiment with clear financial readout
Identify 2–3 automation or workflow improvements to increase velocity
Present a forward-looking optimization roadmap to Growth leadership
Proven owner of a marketing channel from strategy to execution. You’ve built playbooks, run experiments, and operationalized winners into repeatable sequences.
Experience with direct-mail + cross-channel optimization experience. You’ve run DM A/B tests, authored rollout checklists, and translated creative learnings into sequencing that scales.
Strong experimentation discipline & taxonomy ownership. You can design A/B methodology, maintain the creative taxonomy, and ensure test results feed a living “best-of” library.
Cross-functional influencer with data-first instincts. You are comfortable partnering with Ops, AAA, CS/Implementation, and Product to QA inputs, translate data into decisions, and unblock launches.
Experience translating marketing tests into financial impact and forecasting.

Virta has a location based compensation structure. Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. For this role, the compensation range is $141,854 or $162,690. Information about Virta’s benefits is on our Careers page at: https://www.virtahealth.com/careers.
