The Position: 

As a Senior Case Manager (SCM) on our High-Skilled Immigration (HSI) team, you will be a part of a team of Attorneys and Case Managers that help our clients navigate immigrant work visa issues. Supporting our Attorneys, you will be responsible for working directly with our clients in a variety of industries, including technology, engineering, bioscience, and other emerging industries to help them seize exciting opportunities in today’s evolving economy. You will draft professional documents and help navigate US immigration related issues in an employment-based context. Under the direction of our HSI Attorneys, you'll help facilitate the completion of comprehensive, well-structured legal briefs for work visa matters including EB-1A and EB-1B Green Cards, EB-2 NIW Green Cards, and O-1 visas tailored to each client’s background and proposed endeavor.


This position offers a level of flexibility to accommodate where the SCM is most needed to support the team. Please note, all work must be performed within the United States.


What you will be doing:

  • Reviewing client submitted information prior to potential client consultation meetings 
  • Participating in client consultation meetings
  • Setting up client cases in our firm case management system and updating other relevant internal databases
  • Reviewing the client career summary
  • Preparing the client document list
  • Reviewing any client documents submitted relevant to their case
  • Assignment of projects to other team members for client cases within your attorney team
  • Editing legal documents or immigration forms
  • Communicating directly with the client on status of case, documentation, etc.
  • Providing feedback to other members of the High-Skilled Immigration on any documentation, process or case updates 

Skills and experience you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a writing-intensive or STEM field
  • Demonstrated high level of rhetorical (persuasive) writing and editing
  • Thorough attention to detail and strong organizational and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with a rigorous approach to evaluating arguments and evidence
  • Flexible and able to quickly adapt to rapid changes in the workplace
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong word processing and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with utilizing technology in your work

$75,000 per year
