Senior C++ Mobile Software Engineer

**This role could also be based in our Warsaw office**

At Scandit, we develop real-time computer vision solutions for smartphones, wearables and robots that combine modern machine learning approaches with computer vision. To expand our engineering team, we are looking for a C++ Mobile Software Engineer.

About the role 

You’ll help guide the implementation of our cross-platform API’s to ensure consistency, as well as write multithreaded code on a modern cross platform C++ code base, that makes use of the full range of today’s hardware capabilities. You’ll be the connection between our Computer Vision/ML Engineers and the Android/iOS experts on our market-leading software. 

Additionally, you’ll work on projects such as real-time animated overlays for our data capture engine, or work on extending our SDK to target additional platforms (Linux). 

Who you are

• Proven experience in writing modern C++ code
• You have experience architecting and extending cross-platform C++ projects
• Your are passionate about the latest developments in C++ and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others
• You believe in automated testing for producing high-quality code
• Experience with Python is a plus
• Experience with development for Linux is a plus
• Experience with development for iOS and/or Android is a plus 
• You are willing to go beyond your role, your team and (sometimes) your comfort zone to make a cross-functional impact on the business
