JOIN OUR TEAM

As Senior Buyer Indirect Purchasing, you will join our procurement team and take ownership of managing and optimising our OPEX spend. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Westwing and reporting directly to the VP of Buying & Quality, you will have a leading role in negotiations and tenders, setting new standards in processes and cost optimisation. As a sparring partner to departments across the company, you will provide expertise in procurement, contracts and supplier selection, while driving digitalisation and efficiency improvements. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Lead negotiations and tenders, setting new standards in procurement processes
Conduct market and price analyses, and evaluate project-specific enquiries and offers
Act as a sparring partner to departments, advising on all matters related to procurement, contracts and supplier selection
Develop and manage purchasing strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals
Identify optimisation opportunities and drive forward digitalisation in purchasing
Ensure transparency in the purchasing process and guarantee adherence to budgets

YOU COME WITH

5+ years of experience in negotiation and contract management, with a focus on cost reduction
Strong track record of cost consciousness, especially in negotiations with SaaS providers
Experience in change management and process improvements
Independent working style, hands-on mentality and analytical thinking
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels
Fluency in both written and spoken German and English
