Senior Business Operations Specialist

AI overview

Take ownership of Salesforce-enabled revenue systems, focusing on CPQ and Sales Cloud capabilities to enhance revenue execution.

Ideally this candidate would be based or open to working an EST pattern as we want to ensure collaboration with our EMEA colleagues.

Ivanti’s mission is to be a global technology leader enabling organizations to elevate Everywhere Work, automating tasks that discover, manage, secure, and service all their IT assets. Through diverse and inclusive hiring, decision-making, and commitment to our employees and partners, we will continue to build and deliver world-class solutions for our customers.

Why this role is important:

Ivanti’s Business Process Operations team owns and evolves the systems and processes that enable effective revenue execution. As our Salesforce ecosystem continues to expand, we are seeking a Senior Business Operations Specialist to take ownership of Salesforce‑enabled revenue systems, with a strong emphasis on CPQ and core Sales Cloud capabilities.

This is an individual contributor role focused on go‑to‑market platforms, workflows, and system behavior. It is designed for an experienced Revenue Operations professional who understands how systems, data, and process design enable scalable, well‑governed revenue execution, including how business processes translate into effective use of existing CRM capabilities and potential enhancements.

The Business Process Operations team has resources spread across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions, primarily remote‑based employees, to ensure follow‑the‑sun coverage. The role requires flexibility in working hours to maximize interactions with global stakeholders. Very sporadically, weekend coverage may be required when supporting larger system changes and is compensated by time off in lieu.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Performs system configuration and administration tasks in support of go‑to‑market business processes for assigned applications, with primary focus on Salesforce‑enabled revenue systems.
  • Owns documentation for assigned systems and/or system‑driven process mappings, including maintaining supporting materials and templates.
  • In addition to documentation, ensures delivery of tools and systems enablement across Business Operations teams, including demo recordings and train‑the‑trainer sessions. Manages requests from Business Operations teams for questions and issues related to assigned systems and system‑driven processes.
  • Acts as an approved IT requestor for system enhancements and projects, helping identify opportunities and capturing requirements from Business Operations stakeholders, defining acceptance criteria, and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Oversees the lifecycle of changes to assigned go‑to‑market systems, including enhancements, expansion, and ongoing evolution of existing platforms.
  • Owns and supports Salesforce CPQ from a business operations perspective, focusing on the design, configuration, and ongoing evolution of quote‑to‑order workflows, system behavior, and approval frameworks that enable consistent revenue execution.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for Salesforce Sales Cloud capabilities, including Territory Management and Forecasting, with ownership of how these capabilities are configured and used to support sales operations.

What you will bring:

  • Demonstrable experience in Sales Operations for a SaaS or technology company operating globally, with significant exposure to revenue‑supporting systems.
  • Experience in Renewal Operations or Channel Operations is a plus, particularly within a multi‑tier partner ecosystem.
  • Proven track record of owning and evolving revenue systems and the processes they enable to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting change initiatives related to system enhancements, configuration changes, and cross‑functional workflow evolution.
  • Practical experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ in a business operations context, including hands‑on exposure to territory management, forecasting, and pipeline management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce configuration concepts beyond a general end‑user level, including objects, fields, automation, and permissions.
  • Experience writing and using SOQL queries to support analysis, troubleshooting, and insight into Salesforce data models and system behavior is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to assess, challenge, and improve system effectiveness and operational outcomes.
  • High level of dependability and integrity; a collaborative team player who is also comfortable operating autonomously.
