Senior Business Intelligence Developer - Finance (f/m/x)

As Business Intelligence Developer, your mission is to help Enpal by creating the useful and high-quality products to enable Group Finance & Asset Management reporting for Germany’s largest green energy-tech company.

You will:

• Work closely with the senior managers in Finance, Accounting, Controlling and Asset Management teams to design, build, and maintain dbt transformation pipelines and long-lasting dashboards to ensure the best-in-class reporting data infrastructure for financial reporting needs.
• Automate the delivery and quality control of monthly asset reports which track customer agreements, ensuring accurate tracking of rent payments, asset lifespan, and customer purchases, for key stakeholders and refinancing partners providing an efficient self-service reporting.
• Develop deep knowledge of ERP (MS Dynamics) and auxiliary finance management systems (Aryza, Contavio, Lucanet, Navan, Spendesk) to have a holistic perspective on data related to financial transactions and resources. Ensure adequate usage & design of the financial data in the Data Warehouse. Proactively come up with suggestions for the improvements of the ERP and auxiliary system itself.
• Lead weekly meetings with stakeholders, ensure quarterly roadmap planning and drive prioritization.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence, analytics with a strong background in finance or accounting domains.
• High proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Our tech stack includes dbt, Snowflake, Streamlit, Tableau, Power BI.
• Exposure to Python for data analysis (e.g. pandas).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record in automating data pipelines and reporting workflows, especially for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Strong ability to analyse financial data, identify patterns, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of clear, understandable financial reports.
• Enthusiasm for working in dynamic, rapidly changing environments, with a commitment to financial excellence and innovation.
