As Business Development Manager People, you will play a key role in shaping the growth and evolution of our People & Culture function. You will lead strategic projects and initiatives that strengthen our impact across Westwing - with a particular focus on AI-driven implementations that empower teams to work smarter, learn faster, and make better decisions.

This is a high-impact role offering a steep learning curve and responsibility from day one. You will collaborate closely with Executives, Senior Management, and a highly talented, diverse team at the intersection of Business Development People, Learning & Development, and People Analytics. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive strategic, cross-functional projects within the People & Culture team, with a focus on AI-driven initiatives that enhance efficiency, learning, and decision-making

  • Design and implement learning strategies aligned with organisational goals and future capabilities

  • Create and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder engagement

  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across departments, seniority levels, and countries

  • Partner closely with the (People) Leadership Team and the Chief People Officer on strategic priorities and initiatives

YOU COME WITH

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting or strategy/business development, with a strong record of impact

  • Hands-on experience with AI projects or tools

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritise effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

  • Passion for People/HR, with a drive to innovate and challenge the status quo

  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a strong desire to make a difference

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging messages and build trustful relationships

  • Fluency in English and German
