As a Senior Business Development Manager - Analytics & Process Excellence, you will play a key role in shaping how we scale the business: identifying growth opportunities, building data-driven strategies, and translating them into concrete initiatives with measurable impact. This is a high-visibility, high-ownership role, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across markets. You will help define priorities, challenge the status quo, and build scalable solutions that directly influence commercial performance. The position is permanent and based in Munich.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own and drive strategic business development initiatives end-to-end - from problem definition and opportunity sizing to execution and measurable impact
Translate complex data into clear business decisions, using advanced analytics to answer ambiguous questions and guide growth, profitability, and scalability
Identify and unlock new growth levers by analysing markets, competitive dynamics, customer behaviour, and business performance
Design and implement scalable processes, tools, and operating models supported by AI that improve efficiency and enable faster, smarter decision-making
Lead cross-functional projects across Commercial, Operations, Tech, Finance, and international teams, ensuring alignment and strong execution
Act as a trusted sparring partner to senior stakeholders, influencing decisions with structured thinking, strong storytelling, and fact-based insights
YOU COME WITH
5+ years of professional experience in top-tier consulting, strategy, or business development - ideally within eCommerce, marketplaces, or consumer-driven businesses
Strong business acumen combined with deep analytical skills, with a proven ability to turn data into actionable commercial insights
A structured, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias for execution and ownership
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with senior leadership
Fluency in English (German is a plus, but not required)
