Senior Business Analyst (They/She/He)

🧑‍💻We are seeking a motivated and agile Senior Business Analyst to join our BA team. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights to optimize performance and support operational teams and project roll-outs. As part of a highly cross-functional environment, you’ll collaborate with a wide range of teams (Operations, Acquisitions, Product, Commercial, Finance) and actively contribute to the Group’s growth dynamic.

This position requires strong interpersonal skills and proactivity, as we value entrepreneurship and leadership. The role can be based either at our Florence office, where the BA team is located, or at our Milan office.

Reporting to the BA Director, your responsibilities will include:

• Tracking, analyzing, and alerting teams on all KPIs, while providing qualitative feedback to support business decision-making (for pre-defined key countries under your sole responsibility).
• Leading Turnover Monitoring from a global perspective, sharing insights on trends and alerting key stakeholders on strategic adjustments.
• Collaborating with local analysts and validating Gross Margin for the defined business line. This key activity also involves coordination with Finance departments and the global data team to validate and certify statistics.
• Owning the forecast and budget processes, including consolidation, producing all supporting documentation, and conducting variance vs target analysis.
• Conducting ad hoc analyses and contributing to innovation initiatives (e.g., involvement in AI-related projects).
• Mentoring and guiding junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.

🎓 Skills and Experience :

• Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, statistics or similar 
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
• Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau), SQL and Python is a plus
• High degree of motivation, flexibility and creativity
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proven ability to work autonomously and interact with various levels of a business
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
• Experience in a similar role within the digital market sector
• Fluency in English, French is a plus
