Team Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new and growing team as part of Dun & Bradstreet’s ITSM Transformation initiative. This initiative aims to transform IT Service Management through the delivery of a standard global operating model & Enterprise platform supported by a single data model, automation, and a simplified and integrated end-user experience. The Enterprise Platform Team partners closely with ITSM Practice and Service Owners to ensure our IT Service Management Platform, ServiceNow, is optimally configured to support global processes and provides maximum value to the Enterprise.
The Role:
The ServiceNow Platform Demand Manager is a full-time position reporting to the Senior Director of Service Management Platforms. You will be the liaison between the business and the ServiceNow Platform Team, responsible for collecting ServiceNow Platform demand from product owners and business stakeholders and managing it through its lifecycle to development. This role requires excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to efficiently self-manage busy work queue. As a ServiceNow Platform Demand Manager at Dun & Bradstreet, you will be working in a fast-paced environment and delivering solutions that transform the way we work
Key Responsibilities:
- Funnels all platform enhancement requests through the standard process which includes intake, assessment, decisioning, prioritization and scheduling.
- Works with requestors and business analysts to ensure demand records include adequate information regarding problem statement, use case, business value 100%and risk of implementing/not implementing.
- Ensures demand is qualified and accepted by platform process/product owners before advancing to Demand Board review.
- Presides over the Demand Board and facilitates discussion and decisioning regarding advancement and prioritization of qualified demand.
- Ensures accepted demand is prioritized and scheduled objectively according to the standard prioritization calculator.
- Facilitates discussions with business leadership and the ServiceNow platform team regarding upcoming initiatives to predict and plan for future platform demand.
- Collaborates with ServiceNow Platform and Product Owners to ensure current and predicted demand is represented in the product roadmap.
Key Requirements:
- Proven and verifiable history of analyzing business situations and working within a group environment to provide efficient and effective software solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM components such as Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, Release Management, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow Best Practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features.
- Must be adaptable to work in a varied, fast paced, exciting, ever-changing environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with business partners.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues utilizing native capabilities and without unnecessary customizations.
