We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a financial services client, focused on the analysis, definition, and validation of operational and functional requirements for platforms related to pension plans, savings funds, savings cooperatives, record-keeping, investment funds, and fiduciary operations.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring that proposed technological solutions align with real client operations, regulatory considerations, and business needs, working closely with development, CX, and operational teams in a hybrid/on-site model based in Mexico City (CDMX).

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Define the functional and operational requirements necessary for the operation of financial products such as pension plans, savings funds, and savings cooperatives.
• Translate operational needs into clear, detailed functional specifications for development teams.
• Document business processes and system behaviors related to fund administration, record-keeping, and fiduciary operations.
• Analyze solution proposals from development teams, collaborating with Customer Experience (CX) to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure proposed and implemented solutions align with current client operations and do not disrupt existing business processes.
• Propose alternative development options based on in-depth business and operational analysis.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test matrices to validate end-to-end scenarios.
• Ensure testing is executed thoroughly and integrally before releasing new functionalities.
• Act as a key bridge between business, operations, and technology teams.
  
  Desired Profile

• Experience & Seniority
• Senior-level profile with 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the financial sector.
• Proven experience working with financial platforms related to pension plans, savings funds, record-keeping, investment funds, and fiduciary services.
• Technical & Functional Skills
• Strong background in business and operational analysis within financial services.
• Experience defining and documenting functional requirements for complex financial systems.
• Knowledge of fiduciary processes and fund administration.
• Ability to structure, analyze, and document end-to-end operational processes.
• Experience collaborating closely with software development and CX teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating business needs into technical language.
• Attention to detail and strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

• Education

Bachelor’s degree in:

• Industrial Engineering
• Business Administration, Economics, or Finance
• Systems Engineering or a related field

• Language
• Advanced English proficiency (B2+ or higher) to collaborate with international teams and clients.

• Nice to Have
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Knowledge of BPMN and process modeling.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms or financial management systems.

• Location & Availability
