Location: Broomfield

Employees who are able to perform the essential functions of their jobs away from an Elevations location may do so with the expectation that they are onsite at least fifty percent of the time over a two-week pay period.

Summary/Objective:

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and understanding system capabilities, business value, business requirements, and success measures to enable effective project prioritization and delivery. They have a robust understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and what moves them. The Senior Business Analyst ensures that all projects have well defined KPIs, they monitor and report on them after project implementation to confirm the anticipated value was delivered to the business.

The Senior Business Analyst is knowledgeable and experienced in analysis methods/techniques including requirements gathering, benefits realization, business case development, financial analysis, and business process management. The Senior Business Analyst is detail-oriented and requires little supervision in performing complex business analysis to support Product Owners in reaching defined Value Stream objectives. They consistently display the ability to critically think and communicate across all levels of the organization.

Essential Functions include:

Advise on system capabilities, features, and design to help mature and grow the business. Utilize data-driven decision making to ensure that projects are delivering value that propels the overall strategy and vision of the organization forward

Gather, understand, document, and analyze business requirements, risks, business value, and success measures for prioritized projects from various stakeholders

Measure and track business value realization through the execution of lookbacks that ensure delivery of anticipated value to the business. Through partnership with business leaders, hold reviews, create action plans, and execute upon them

Identify processes and procedures impacted by project delivery and analyze for opportunities to optimize them for efficiency and effectiveness

Break down project requests into deliverable pieces of functioning product and deliverable pieces of work

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, project ownership, measurement and analysis, performance excellence, or similar
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Science, or related discipline OR 4+ years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required)
  • Experience influencing business decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using hypotheses-driven problem solving.

Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Banking and/or FinTech background
  • Experience leading and performing complex data analysis using various data analytics tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Microsoft Excel).
  • Agile Experience
  • Experience working with leadership teams to identify key opportunities to develop and enhance business strategy using quantitative and qualitative analytics
  • Experience identifying business needs and leading strategic plans driven by qualitative/quantitative analysis and market insights.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • CSPO, CBAP, CBDA, CPOA, and/or AAC certifications

Work Environment:

Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full Time / 40 hours per week

Classification:

The Compensation Department will determine exempt (salary) or non-exempt (hourly) status upon review of the Success Profile using Department of Labor Fair Labor Standards Act testing requirements.

Compensation information:

The person hired into this position will likely earn between $91,182.90 and $113,978.62, plus annual bonus.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Anticipated Application Window:
