Job Description:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you form the link between the business and the delivery teams and you come up with solutions for the epic owners from the business. You analyze the wishes of the business, inventory the requirements and translate these into a solution with clear features. In doing so, you show courage, you take control and you have an eye for the wishes of the customer.

This is what you will do as an Agile Business Analyst

• collect functional business requirements and translate these into solutions, features and user stories for the delivery teams

• explain features and user stories and explain them clearly to the teams during refinements (also in English)

• be critical of the wishes and ask why the wish exists, in order to arrive at the underlying need

• collaborate with the other business analysts and architects and thus ensure knowledge sharing and exchange experiences

• switch between different stakeholders, such as developers, business, architects, and coordinate the analysis process

• preferably knowledge of or experience with the Dutch Income sector or at least the Insurance sector

• demonstrable experience in Agile/scrum and software development and at least 10 years of experience in a similar role as Information/Business Analyst

• Strong conceptual and analytical skills to develop adequate solutions for business and IT issues

• experience in specifying and testing digital environments, such as websites, portals and apps

• strong Dutch and English communication skills and can switch just as easily with developers as with stakeholders from the business

• a good dose of stress resistance, you are assertive and work in a structured and accurate manner

Expected competencies:

• Ability to deal with time pressure, the project has a tight deadline

• Ability to work in a DevOps team, but also have an eye for team-transcending matters and act on them

• Knowledge of SAFe and Scrum

• Knowledge of XML

• Knowledge of SOAP

• Knowledge of Azure DevOps

• Knowledge of BPMN
