Overview
We are seeking a Senior Build & Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve the Unity build pipeline and cross-platform deployment infrastructure across multiple live and in-development titles. This role will focus on creating stable, scalable, and automated deployment systems for WebGL, Windows, and cloud-hosted environments using AWS.
Responsibilities
Maintain and improve the Unity CI/CD pipeline for automated cross-platform builds (WebGL, Windows)
Manage cloud-based hosting for client builds using Amazon S3 and CDN delivery systems
Build and deploy containerized services for backend environments using ECS or equivalent
Implement multi-tenant build versioning and deployment workflows
Optimize and maintain Unity AssetBundle pipeline for speed and flexibility
Secure infrastructure credentials and manage cleanup of legacy artifacts and outdated configurations
Create and maintain isolated QA, staging, and production environments
Document and automate common infrastructure tasks to ensure repeatable, reliable build delivery
Requirements
Expert-level Unity experience, including automated builds, Asset Bundles, and WebGL exports
Strong CI/CD background with Unity build automation (TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
Deep understanding of AWS services, including S3, CloudFront, ECS, AMIs, IAM
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform
Skilled in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
Ability to debug complex deployment flows and build errors across platforms
Experience supporting Steam or launcher-based deployments is a plus
Bonus: Understanding of multi-project engine infrastructure and backporting workflows
Soft Skills
Able to work independently and prioritize long-term infrastructure needs alongside short-term delivery
Clear communicator with cross-disciplinary teams (engineering, QA, production)
Comfortable working with legacy systems and modernizing incrementally
Detail-oriented with a focus on stability, automation, and scalability
