It handles diverse data types and structures across Roku’s systems, including end-user, IT, and operations data. We are seeking an experienced Tableau Engineer to lead and support Tableau at scale in a high-volume, big-data analytics environment.

This role is deeply technical and focused on performance, scalability, and architecture. You’ll design and optimise how Tableau connects to our data platforms on AWS and GCP, lead migrations, and drive best practices for performance, governance, and usability. You will partner closely with data engineering, analytics, and product teams to ensure our BI stack scales with Roku’s growth and supports confident, data-driven decision-making.

If you’re endlessly curious, comfortable working across infrastructure and user experience, can balance long-term architecture with day-to-day delivery, and enjoy making complex data feel simple, this role is for you.

This role requires hybrid working from Monday to Thursday.

  • Translate data architecture into efficient Tableau logical and physical models
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to align Tableau usage with upstream pipelines, partitioning strategies, and compute optimization
  • Advise on Tableau capacity planning, concurrency management, and platform governance
