So, what’s the role all about?

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BI Backend Developer to join our team. This role is critical in designing, building, and maintaining the backend infrastructure that supports our Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and database management, with hands-on experience using technologies like DBT, Snowflake, Oracle databases, and SSIS.

How will you make an impact?  

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support data integration and transformation processes.
  • Build and optimize data models for analytical purposes using DBT (Data Build Tool).
  • Implement and manage data workflows in Snowflake and Oracle databases.
  • Utilize SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to develop, deploy, and troubleshoot data workflows.
  • Collaborate with BI analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across all systems.
  • Monitor, debug, and optimize performance of data systems and workflows.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in BI and data engineering.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (4+ years) as a BI Backend Developer, Data Engineer, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in DBT for data transformation and modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Oracle database systems.
  • Strong skills in SSIS for ETL processes and data integration.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and database performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Service-oriented
  • Very good English
