On behalf of our client, a trusted global innovator of IT and business services, we are currently looking for a motivated Java Engineer to join one of the company’s development teams for European and international organizations.

A day in the life of a Senior Java Engineer

You will be part of a multicultural, high-performing, cross-functional, and agile team responsible for the design, implementation, and building services. You must be a team player, who enjoys learning from his team and sharing his knowledge.

Your day-to-day

• Design, develop and maintain the back-end of large web-based Java EE/Spring applications with microservices architecture
• Analyze, design, and deliver end-to-end features
• Test and manage early life support of core software tools and assets produced in the context of software development projects
• Participate in meetings, forums, and discovery sessions.
• Ensure the alignment of the solution with the client's needs and especially with the architecture team.
• Perform unit testing and code coverage checking, performing functional, integration
• Assist with deployment and configuration management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot
• Good knowledge of Maven, Restful APIs
• Experience with microservice architectures
• Be able to demonstrate experience in full-cycle software engineer
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Great to have

• experience with Apache Kafka
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
