Senior Backend Engineer

We sell to industries with large, consumer-facing businesses such as: banking, financial services, insurance, fintech, gaming, ecommerce/retail, telco / media, utilities, etc.

About the Role:

You will play an integral role in the development of an innovative SaaS product.

We're looking for talented Backend Engineers who love solving complex problems and are looking for a new challenge!

What you’ll do:

• Plan and deliver new features as we grow the emerging SaaS platform.
• Deliver both infrastructure and customer-facing features.
• Build and extend backend services in a dockerized environment.
• Learn and implement authentication protocols such as OIDC, SAML, and WebAuthn.

What you’ll need:

• At least 6 years of proven experience developing complex web applications.
• Proven record implementing scalable REST APIs and services taking a feature from the design board to deployment.
• Experienced with backend development using advanced tools such as Nodejs, Typescript, Python, Docker, Next.js.
• Hands-on experience using SQL/NoSQL based databases.
• Familiar with frontend development with modern web frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Fast learner and tech savvy.

Advantages:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Understanding of microservices-based deployments with the ability to introduce monitoring/tracing of application logs.
