Ready to become a Wriker?
Wrike is looking for a Backend Developer to join our Capybara team within the Solutions Unit. You'll be instrumental in building and maintaining solutions that cater to customers in different domains, e.g. professional services and marketing. Your customers will be external clients who rely on our specialized workflow solutions. You'll need to be comfortable documenting requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and proposing effective technical solutions.
We expect you to have strong experience with Java 8+ programming skills and enjoy working in an international team environment.

The Capybara team is part of our Solutions Unit, which is on a mission to become the leading workflow solution provider for Wrike's ICPs by delivering differentiated capabilities, platform customization, and focused go-to-market strategies. Our team consists of cross-functional members working in an agile environment.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to develop backend solutions tailored to address our customers needs.

How You’ll make an impact
- Developing, designing (technically) new and also rewriting existing features
- Proposing solutions to complex problems
- Discussing your solutions with the team and stakeholders
- Providing estimates for tasks
- Developing tests for your functionality
- Conducting code reviews
- Working using iterative development practices in a fast-paced environment
You will achieve your best if you have
- Experience with Java 8+
- SQL knowledge
- Spring 4 Basics (IoC Concept)
- Java Web Stack (HTTP, filters, servlets, web security)
- Upper Intermediate English skills
You will stand out with
- Experience with JS framework (Angular/ React/ Vue), HTTP requests, TypeScript, REST API, computer science
- Experience in designing and architecting web application on your own
- At least basic experience with HTML/CSS/JS
- Ability to perform Product Discovery along with PM and Designer
