Senior Backend Engineer

You'll be joining the backend group to help us expand our backend system and add new features to the company's core product. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in driving the backend architecture and technical strategies that underpin our success. This is a great Opportunity to make a significant impact by driving the technical direction of a high-growth company. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will:

Build backend system from the ground up

Design and collaborate with the engineering team to build architecture and system design for new products

Build internal products and integrate with external API’s

Play a role in building, expanding, testing and releasing of a product helping thousands happy customers

Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with preference from top-tier universities

Experience and deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent)

Experience designing and implementing APIs

Experience working with micro-services - advantage

Knowledge in testing methodologies

Independent, great interpersonal skills
