We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development and scaling of our core off-chain coordination service. This is a critical infrastructure role, as the Order Server acts as the central hub for the entire Intent lifecycle—from quote aggregation and validation to real-time broadcasting and cross-chain status tracking.

In this role, you will build secure, high-throughput systems using TypeScript and NestJS that allow applications to discover competitive quotes while protecting the network from fraudulent orders. This position is vital for the success of our solver-based architecture and requires a deep focus on security, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Architecture: Design and maintain highly available, low-latency APIs for quote management and system-wide status retrieval.
• Security & Validation: Develop rigorous mechanisms to ensure data integrity, including digital signature verification (EIP-712), timing constraints, and co-signature logic.
• Real-Time Distribution: Build and optimize infrastructure for the immediate broadcasting of validated data to external liquidity providers and execution partners.
• Lifecycle Tracking: Integrate with data indexing services to monitor the multi-phase status of core system objects across distributed environments.
• Optimization: Implement advanced logic for data aggregation, caching, and partner reputation systems to ensure an optimal user experience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Smart Contract and Product teams to ensure seamless integration and provide comprehensive documentation for backend architecture.

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by high-stakes technical challenges.

• Location: Remote within the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
• Experience: 5+ years of backend development experience building and scaling mission-critical, high-throughput services.
• Technical Stack: Expert proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and deep experience with the NestJS framework.
• Web3 Knowledge: Deep understanding of blockchain security primitives (EIP-712), transaction execution flows, and reading on-chain events/logs.
• Systems Design: Strong ability to build fault-tolerant microservices and experience with real-time systems (WebSockets, Redis Pub/Sub).
• Databases: Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and complex query optimization.
• Professionalism: Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks effectively, and "own" projects from end-to-end.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with blockchain indexing services (e.g., The Graph, Goldsky).
• Familiarity with Intent-centric architectures, Solvers, or off-chain order matching.
• Direct experience with cross-chain message passing or oracles (e.g., Wormhole).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud-native deployments (K8s, AWS/GCP).
