Senior Backend Engineer (Golang)

Job summary

The DigiCert ONE CA team is looking for a knowledgeable Senior Software Engineer to join our agile cross functional team as a technical leader to build the future of PKI and security management.

What you will do

On this team, you will:

• Build RESTful, highly scalable cloud native webservices using Go
• Collaborate with the team in the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality code
• Engage with other engineering leaders to implement industry best practices
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer needs
• Develop a deep understanding of PKI products, architecture, and systems

What you will have

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience designing and developing RESTful web service APIs using Go
• Strong knowledge of the following:
• Software engineering best-practices in design, testing, and architecture
• Service-based architectures and distributed systems
• Relational databases, including indexes, and SQL best practices
• Design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/DevOps
• Strong interpersonal communication skills

Nice to have

• Understanding of SSL/TLS, PKI, and other security related technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, etc., or equivalent years of experience in the industry
