Senior Backend Engineer

7+ yrs work experience building scalable, distributed backend systems
Experience with Java, JVM
Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
Experience working for an early stage startup
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or the equivalent experience
Solid coding practices including writing technical specifications, peer code review, and testing (e.g. unit, integration, end-to-end)
Experience with Agile development
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-awareness, a positive “get it done” attitude and empathy
Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation concepts
Passionate about building great products and innovating in the fintech space
