As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in evolving our microservices-based architecture and delivering powerful backend capabilities that our enterprise customers depend on. You’ll work alongside a seasoned, collaborative team of engineers, product managers, and customer stakeholders to design APIs, optimize data flows, and build scalable infrastructure on AWS.

Our tech stack includes:

Java (modern versions, Spring Boot)
PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases
Microservices architecture
AWS(ECS/EC2, RDS, S3, DocumentDB, etc.)

You’ll be responsible for:

Designing and building RESTful APIs that are clean, reliable, and easy to consume.
Writing clean, simple, maintainable, and reusable Java code using industry best practices.
Leading backend architecture decisions and improving system scalability and fault tolerance.
Building robust automated test suites to ensure code quality and prevent regressions.
Partnering closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver features end-to-end.
Participating in code reviews, sharing, and mentoring teammates to foster engineering excellence.

You may be a great fit if you:

Have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus.
Are deeply knowledgeable in RESTful API design and common patterns for authentication, pagination, versioning, etc.
Care deeply about clean code, performance, and maintainability.
Practice test-driven development and write unit, integration, and load tests proactively.
Have experience designing and running production systems on AWS.
Are comfortable working with relational and NoSQL databases, designing schemas, and optimizing queries.
Have worked in microservices environments, and understand distributed systems principles.
Enjoy solving hard technical problems and debugging issues across services.
