Senior Backend Developer

• Collaborate with our product team to innovate, build, and maintain our software products

• Influence Hohm’s architectural strategy and uphold our coding principles.

• Optimise the platform to be highly secure, robust and scalable.

• Use continuous feedback to constantly improve our product and engineering processes.

• Provide support & mentorship to the software engineering team

• A minimum of 6 years relevant industry experience.

• Proven experience designing, building, testing, and deploying secure and scalable applications.

• Interest or experience in the Solar and/or Renewable energy industry.

• Experience working in a startup environment.

• 6+ years of software development

• 4+ years of experience building API's is a must

• 4+ years of experience with Node.js + Typescript is a must

• 4+ years of experience with SQL is must

• Candidate should be within 4 hours of South Africa Standard Time (GMT +2)

Salary: 40k-60k USD per annum
