Senior BA with fintech (e-wallet) expertise

We need a strong BA for completing BA phase of the new upcoming project and then potentially working on the development phase (if case he’s needed). 

Important BA to have deep expertise in fintech solutions developments, namely wallet applications for salary payments, money transfers, and other financial transactions. Also to have experience working with payment and bank integrations, and data migration. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document the business needs of stakeholders, customers, and end-users, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with the client, project manager, and development team, acting as the key liaison between stakeholders and the software development team.
• Decompose complex requirements into concise, clear user stories with unambiguous acceptance criteria.
• Organize effective and efficient communication channels with the development team to ensure proper and timely implementation in line with requirements.
• Lead the identification, analysis, and selection of the optimal solution scope according to the customer’s business requirements.

Hard skills requirements (including years): 

• 6+ years of experience working as a business analyst; preferably within a software development environment. 
• Deep expertise in fintech solutions developments, namely wallet applications for salary payments, money transfers, and other financial transactions.
• Experience in creating e-wallets and their integration into existing products 
• Experience in working with BANK API and integration with them 
• Experience in working with payment processors & providers and their integration
• Understanding of different types of payments (p2p, peer-to-peer, recurrent, transfers) and flow
• Important to have experience working data migration. 
• Comprehensive knowledge of business analysis, requirements management, and Agile delivery principles. 
• Proven experience in eliciting and documenting requirements in the form of user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
• Ability to create comprehensive software requirements specifications (SRS). • Strong grasp of software architecture, including Web applications, and a deep understanding of software/systems (UML). 
• Proficiency in modeling business processes, knowledge of notations and methodologies (BPMN). 
• Ability to interpret, structure, and clarify complex information into clear, actionable requirements. 
• Experience leading workshops to gather requirements, build solutions, and present features. 
• Excellent communication skills. 

The essence of the project: New e-wallet app for Asia and Israel market.

This existing fintech business currently serves two thousand of clients in Israel. The business operates in the agriculture and construction sectors, providing workers with a wallet application for salary payments, money transfers, and other financial transactions.

Current Challenges: The existing system, which includes a core wallet system and a CRM, has been facing performance issues. The client want to rewrite it from scratch.

Data Migration: essential to migrate the existing database and functionality to the new system to ensure continuity of service for your customers

Duration - 3-5 weeks should be for BA phase. Then might be time-gap for approving the results and plan with the client, then a full-time development phase is expected
