About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS) with strong backend experience to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud solutions. This role is hands-on and focused on AWS development, infrastructure as code, security best practices, and automated deployments in production environments.

You will work closely with backend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable, and well-architected cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

☁️ AWS & Cloud Development

• Design, develop, and integrate cloud components using AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• Develop AWS Lambda functions with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Implement and maintain automated deployments and cloud-native architectures within AWS.

🧱 Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Define, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
• Ensure infrastructure is versioned, reusable, and aligned with best practices.

🧩 Backend Development

• Develop and maintain backend services using C#, Python, or Node.js.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless interaction with cloud services.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure backend solutions are cloud-ready and scalable.
  
• 🎨 Frontend Collaboration (React)
• Work alongside frontend engineers using React to ensure cloud and backend solutions properly support frontend requirements.
• Support frontend integration with backend services and cloud infrastructure.
• Understand frontend build and deployment needs in cloud-based environments.

🔐 Cloud Security & Operations

• Manage and configure AWS networking and security, including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, IAM, KMS, security groups, and ACLs.
• Apply security best practices and least-privilege principles.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource usage.
• Work in Linux/Unix environments, handling system administration and troubleshooting.

🔄 CI/CD & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and related tools.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve delivery speed and reliability.

Required Qualifications

🔧 Technical Skills

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.
• Strong experience with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch).
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).
• Backend development experience in C#, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience working with React for frontend development and integration with backend services.
• Solid knowledge of cloud networking, security, and Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
