Senior Automation Test Analyst (Day Rate Contract)

Telefónica Tech is seeking an experienced contract Senior Automation Test Analyst to lead automation testing across multiple projects. The role involves developing automated test frameworks, improving testing processes, and working closely with delivery and development teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities
• Design, build and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
• Execute functional, regression and integration tests within CI/CD environments
• Identify and track defects, supporting resolution with development teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing tools, coverage and practices
• Provide guidance and support to other testers as required

Experience & Skills
• Strong background in test automation within software delivery teams
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Cucumber
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java)
• Experience working in Agile environments and with CI/CD pipelines
• Clear communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable
• Test automation or ISTQB certification
• Experience contributing to test strategy or automation standards
