Senior Automation QA Engineer

We are seeking a Backend Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work closely with software engineers to ensure the quality of our backend applications. You'll be involved in planning and implementing test strategies, designing and developing test scenarios, and executing automated and manual tests. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will help identify and resolve issues to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on backend applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based microservices architecture (e.g., AWS) and associated challenges.
• Experience with containerization and observability tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Fluency in English.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure appropriate levels of test automation are implemented.
• Design and implement test plans and test cases for backend applications.
• Develop and execute automated tests using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
• Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and verify test coverage.
• Identify, document, and report bugs in a structured manner using tools like Jira.
• Prepare and maintain test environments to mirror production for accurate testing.
• Promote best practices in quality assurance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Helping recruit and mentor engineers for our growing team in Vietnam.

Compensation

• The maximum monthly gross salary for this position is 70 million VND. Final offers will be based on experience and alignment with the role's requirements.
