Senior Audience Manager, Referrals (m/f/x)

The role

As a Senior Audience Manager for Referrals, you are part of a powerhouse team that is responsible for the commercial results of our Referrals program across all 17 international markets. You will drive a significant portion of our revenue and profit by developing marketing strategies, ideating, testing and implementing exciting experiences that drive virality of HelloFresh Group’s offering, engage existing customers to refer their friends and grow new customer acquisition. In our customer-centric and data-driven Referrals team, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and analysis of referral campaigns across digital and offline touchpoints for 17 markets and 5 brands, leading creative, brand, analytics and operations teams to act in unison. You will also partner closely with Pricing & Discounts to devise and optimize incentive structures, with product teams to build a customer centric onsite referrals experience and with local market teams to localize our referrals program at scale. Beyond this, a core part of your role will consist of the strategy development for our referrals program. Your ideas and strategic direction will directly influence the future of HelloFresh Group’s referrals program.

What you’ll do

Develop and execute on strategies to drive growth of the virality program:

  • Co-develop our annual referrals strategy and ambition for your area of responsibility and lead the development of initiatives with cross-functional teams and local market leadership.
  • Develop and execute impactful communication strategies and campaigns across CRM and product touch points, ensuring excellent customer experience.
  • Partner with product teams on customer and lead side to identify, test and launch new product features.
  • Analyze channel and campaign performance in depth, working with the Marketing Analytics team to derive insights and guide future strategies.

Optimize program performance:

  • Own performance of a part of our referral program, analyze and steer performance across international markets and all channels, define and own business results and drive stakeholder understanding in Quarterly, Monthly and Weekly Business Reviews.
  • Deep-dive into our rich data sources across channels, product and other sources to find the most potent performance levers and capitalize on untapped business opportunities.
  • Design and implement comprehensive experimentation programs (incl. A/B testing) across markets, enabling continuous optimization and informing international roll-outs.
  • Work closely with the Pricing & Discounts team to gain a deep understanding of incentive mechanisms and define the future of tailored incentives for our program.

Drive innovation of our program:

  • Gain a deep understanding of our diverse customer segments and their preferences, to design, test and implement personalized experiences, as well as catering to local market needs and differences in maturity.
  • Question everything we do every day and define large-scale programs in our annual strategy process that evolve or revolutionize the Referrals program.
  • Find levers for scalability and automation (incl. AI) to drive efficiencies and spend your time working on the things that really move the needle.

What you’ll bring

  • Excellent degree in marketing, business, statistics or STEM-related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience working in high-paced environments, ideally tech-scale up, consulting, or e-commerce  
  • Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills, strategic thinking and sound business acumen
  • A passion for delivering excellent and effective customer experiences (ideally working on referrals programs, CRM/Lifecycle Marketing, digital channel management, subscription business models)
  • Strong ownership mentality and drive to deliver results, experience leading multiple parallel workstreams and prioritizing for highest impact 
  • Experience devising and measuring the effectiveness of business and pricing strategies (including AB testing), with a proven track record from other data-rich business environments
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to influence and motivate stakeholders at all levels of the organization, lead effective meetings and presentations with senior management
  • Sound technical skills (excel/spreadsheet-based modeling required, SQL/GBQ or other querying languages a plus)
