Senior Associate/Vice President, Product Management

POSITION OVERVIEW

The individual who fills this role will be a member of the Product Management team supporting the Private Equity Co-Investment practice.  Reporting to the Managing Director, Head of Product Management for PE Co-Investments, the role covers the full fund lifecycle, including product development, pre-marketing, fundraising, and ongoing investor engagement.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as a product expert and spokesperson throughout the fund lifecycle.
  • Coordinate and complete workflows associated with client service; help to implement best practices to enhance investor experience.
  • Support pre-marketing, fundraising, and LP communications.
  • Contribute to strategy and product development; maintain marketing materials.
  • Manage investor requests (RFPs, DDQs, etc.), ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Assist in drafting fund documents, including the PPM and investor presentations.
  • Help plan and execute client events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Partner with other StepStone teams to deliver results for clients and prospects as well as to drive internal process efficiencies.

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in private equity or financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, or similar discipline.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye to attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM and performance reporting systems a plus.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and a proactive mindset.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $215,000

The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position.  Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience.  The salary range does not include any benefits or other forms of possible compensation that may be available to employees.
